Spring Quarter Life Recap

Well everyone, Spring Quarter has come to an end and it is time for a little recap and future activity update. This quarter was pretty good and really laid back because my classes were easy, the only one that gave me trouble was Geography of Rivers which of course I thought was boring so I did not apply myself to it. Anywho... where was I?? Oh yeah, classes. My favorite has got to be botany; this class was taught by an amazing teacher who loved teaching us and made the class fun to be in. It was also a good science class because it was not just lecture we also had a lab section which was nice because I got to see some interesting plants and even take one home for my collection.

The other class that also taught me a lot was Observer, this is the class where you write for the school's newspaper. I loved this class, I took it before last Spring Quarter but I was on copy desk so while I learned a lot I did not get a chance to really practice writing, but this quarter I was on the scene crew. I got assignments based on what was happening around campus and just general cool stuff. I learned how to write properly for a newspaper and how to contact sources and do interviews. Through this class I even got the opportunity to accept a job as the new scene editor for next year. This is a huge opportunity and I hope that it leads to good things in the future.

Outside of class things have also been really good. My health has stayed constant with only a few bad days here and there which is to be expected. Jared and I have been good, we went on a hike and to Leavenworth Memorial Day weekend which was a nice little get away. And we are both adjusting to having all of our friends get married, but do not panic we are not doing that any time soon so your favorite blogger is still footloose and fancy free.... to some extent anyways. Another good high point is that I officially have my own apartment, with roommates of course because I am poor. But it is a house none the less and I get my own room and a real kitchen. It is a nice little place and I cannot wait to move in.

So that was my quarter! Thanks for sticking around everyone and I hope that you continue to read through my posts as they arrive. Now that summer is here I will have more time to write for you. Also stay tuned because at the end of July through August I will be on the famous Ramey roadtrip so I will document our travels as I can. Love you all and have a good summer!!
