Lazy K's

For all of my readers that enjoy going out and finding hole-in-the-wall restaurants here is a rating for you. Lazy K's is located in Carnation, Washington (about central Washington) it's a tiny little restaurant that at first glance looks like it is only a tavern, but don't be fooled, there is a bar side and a restaurant side so it's still kid friendly. These guys specialize in pizza and pasta but there are other options like salads and sandwiches. My grandparents and I swung through here on my way home, so if ever you are heading East or even back West stop by Lazy K's.

(This was a very fun restaurant. The walls were adorned with old fashioned tavern decorations, everything from cowboy memorabilia to show girl legs and feather boas. There is even a distraction for the kids in the form of the brown paper tablecloth (that way the parents can watch whatever sports game is on on the tavern tvs).

*****
(Very yummy food that proves that hole-in-the-wall places often have better food than big restaurants. When my grandparents and I went, grandma and I got angel hair pasta with marinara sauce, and grandpa got a meatball sandwich. The pasta was super good cooked to perfect al-dente, the sauce was flavorful with just the right amount of kick to it, and the meatballs were delicious they appeared to be handmade and the seasonings within them made them spicy but not overpowering. And of course as with any pasta place there was a side of a breadstick and a small salad, the salad was fresh and crisp and the breadstick was super yummy and complemented the entree beautifully.)
~service
*****
(Even though we weren't in the South we got some great hospitality. Our waitress was very nice and she even cracked some jokes with grandma and didn't look at us like we were nuts. The food came out fast and she kept coming back to check on us throughout the meal.)

Total stars for Lazy K's =14
**Disclaimer: if you or any of your companions is allergic to or scared of dogs I would avoid this restaurant, as they have their pet dog that roams the floor to keep the guests company.
