Pizza of Ellensburg!!!

Ellensburg Washington may not be the first stop a pizza connoisseur makes, but none the less, there are some pretty top notch pizza places in this little town. For all of those interested in expanding your pizza horizons search for these restaurants on your way through town. This post does not include restaurants that simply list pizza on their menu this is for the places that specialize in those works of culinary art known as pizza.

My Top Pick:
~ Brooklyn's Pizzeria:
This is a great place to go as a family. The classic pizza place complete with salad bar. Their pizza is really tasty but tends to be a bit on the greasy side, especially if you get a pizza with lots of meat on it. But it is altogether worth it because it is delicious;  the best part is that they fire roast their pizza which gives it that crisp crust and awesome flavor. P.S. there is an arcade for the kids so parents guard your quarters.

For Those With More Refined Palates

~Cornerstone Pie:
This is not your average pizza joint. Cornerstone Pie serves some of the most interesting pizza options that I have ever come across as well as sandwiches and salads. Everything from seafood to garlic to roasted tomatoes, so if you are only in the mood for pepperoni or the classic cheese you might want to find somewhere else to eat. But that is not to say you shouldn't stop in to eat. I had their Pesto Pacifica a thin crust, fire roasted pizza topped with salmon, scallops, prawns, and a pesto drizzle. This was a really tasty pizza and definitely something that I have never tried before. I also had their seasonal Lavender Lemonade which was also new for me but also super yummy, though Jared thought it was a little weird. Altogether Cornerstone Pie was pretty tasty but probably not a place that you would want to take little picky eaters.

For Those On The Go:
~Pizza Colin
Though I have never been into this restaurant I have tried their pizza and I have to say their pizza is pretty yummy. Not too greasy and not too fancy just some good ol' fashioned favorites. They are great for on the go because they sell pizza by the slice, so no cumbersome pizza boxes to carry around. Unfortunately my star count is skewed because I have never been to their restaurant but I give them 5 stars for their pizza.
